Dr. Avni Thakore is a board-certified cardiologist and physician executive with decades of experience delivering high-level cardiovascular care across academic medicine, private practice, and large health systems. She is known for combining clinical excellence with a deeply personal approach to medicine—one that prioritizes listening, time, and long-term partnership.

Dr. Thakore earned her medical degree from Harvard Medical School and completed her undergraduate and graduate studies at Yale University. She completed her internal medicine and advanced cardiology training at Massachusetts General Hospital, where she developed a strong foundation in evidence-based, patient-centered care.

Throughout her career, Dr. Thakore has held senior leadership roles within major New York health systems, overseeing clinical quality, physician development, and strategic growth. While these roles allowed her to shape care on a system-wide level, they also reinforced a conviction that modern medicine too often sacrifices connection, continuity, and time.
